Pitchfork starts tomorrow, and as with any big-box music festival, there are choices to be made. With 46 bands spread across three stages, Pitchfork is by far the summer's least egregious double-booker (cough grumble Lolla), but you're gonna miss some talent based on the sheer quality of its lineup.

Should you watch Vic Mensa or Sleater-Kinney? Ryley Walker or Natalie Prass? The Julie Ruin or, infuriatingly, Waxahatchee? Here's how Chicago mag staffers Carrie Schedler, Tomi Obaro and Matt Pollock will be navigating the weekend—occasionally at a jog.
