Today the National City and Regional Magazine Award finalists were announced online. We’re thrilled to report that Chicago magazine has been named a finalist in these seven categories:

- Civic Journalism: “Lawbreakers, Lawmakers” by David Bernstein and Noah Isackson
- Reader Service: “Best Public Schools” by Steve Hendershot, Owen Hurd, Geoffrey Johnson, Dennis Rodkin, and Jennifer Tanaka
- Food or Dining Feature Package: “The Discerning Drinker’s Guide to Chicago” by Barri Leiner Grant, Nora O’Donnell, Jeff Ruby, Lena Singer, Jennifer Tanaka, Lauren Viera, and Jennifer Wehunt
