Easter Sunday is not complete until you’re sitting in the Music Box Theatre (3733 N. Southport Ave.) clapping to a Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory costume contest and singing along to the movie. (Literally. The audience is encouraged to sing, and costumes will be judged by applause.)

Don’t worry, there will be a six-foot-tall Oompa Loompa there to help you through “The Candy Man.”

Everyone gets a goodie bag. Here are the contents and instructions:

•    Whistle (Blow when Augustus Gloop gets shot through the chocolate pipe.)
•    Chocolate egg (Eat when Veruca Salt falls down the egg chute.)
•    Taffy (Chew when Mike Teavee is stretched by the taffy puller after being shrunk by Wonkavision.)
•    Purple balloon (Inflate and let go when Violet Beauregarde puffs up into a giant blueberry.)
•    Glow stick (Wave around during the boat ride.)
•    Bubbles (Let loose when Grandpa Joe and Charlie are levitating after drinking the fizzy lifting drink.)
•    An envelope (Open, and you might be the winner who gets the Golden Ticket, which comes with Music Box tickets and a Wonka Bar.)

Tickets are $12, and the magic begins at 2 p.m. Sunday.
