Networks confirmed in upfronts this week that five new Chicago-centric television shows are set to air this season, including Chicago PD—a spinoff of NBC's Chicago Firewhich will return for its second season on Tuesdays this fall.

You can check these previews to see if the pilots of a few of the new CBS comedy or ABC dramas are worth watching. Unfortunately, previews for Chicago PD and NBC's other Chicago-based series, Crisis are currently unavailable. We will update this post as more information becomes available.

Chicago PD—currently unscheduled on NBC
Surprisingly, the network ordered this spinoff after just one moderately successful season of Chicago Fire. As you probably guessed, the show follows the personal struggles of the city's cops and their fight against crime.

Crisis—Sundays on NBC starting midseason
In this conspiracy theorist's dream plot, a Secret Service agent, played by Dermot Mulroney, must tackle an international crisis after a school bus full of powerful peoples' children is hijacked.

The Crazy Ones—Thursdays on CBS starting this fall
It isn't yet clear whether or not this new comedy will be filmed in Chicago, but it is set here. The show stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams as a father-daughter team working at a wacky Chicago ad agency.
