Old Forester Taste Through History
Old Forester is America’ First Bottled Bourbon, established in 1870 in Louisville, KY. When George Garvin Brown sealed Bourbon in a bottle for the very first time, he did so knowing it would guarantee quality and consistency for Bourbon lovers everywhere. Four Roses: The Art of Bourbon Mingling
Join Master Distiller, Brent Elliott as he explores the art of mingling our ten unique Bourbon recipes to create a mellow symphony of rich, spicy flavors along with sweet, fruity aromas. In 2006, Four Roses launched Small Batch, 13 years later a fourth permanent addition was made to our lineup, Small Batch Select.
Only Four Roses combines two mashbills with five proprietary yeast strains to create 10 distinct Bourbon recipes. Each recipe brings something different to the batch – and carefully mingling them allows us to achieve an endless range of flavor profiles to please any Bourbon lover. Four of the 10 Bourbon recipes are mingled together to craft Small Batch, while six recipes are mingled for Small Batch Select.
