All right, I admit it. I’m afraid of color. As much as we encourage readers to use color in the pages of our magazine, I’m afraid to make the commitment. I live timidly in a sea of grays and off-whites. But these new hues from Farrow & Ball (the company just introduced nine new ones) make me want to plunge into the spectrum. I love how carefree these images are… it’s like the paint equivalent of a perfectly disheveled Hollywood starlet. They make it look so easy—just throwing some colors together—but I imagine serious consideration went into these looks. The new colors are the purplish Brassica, the fiery orange Charlotte’s Locks, and the gray Dove Tale (on the bathroom doors).
