Inspired Interiors, which has been designing kitchens and baths in the suburbs for the past 10 years, has reopened in a new city showroom and rebranded itself as a full-service décor source. The owner (an alum of Gensler), lives in Lincoln Square, and wanted a business closer to her home. Her showroom (4124 N. Lincoln Ave., 773-728-0419) features the work of young local artisans: vintage fur coats repurposed into decorative pillows,  vintage and new Venetian chandeliers, refinished and repurposed vintage furnishings, railroad tiles repurposed into tables, pillows with Swarovski crystals, and mirrors made from bike chains, wagon wheels, and roof shingles. The company’s website has yet to be updated; but soon will feature products for sale and photos of the new showroom.

Until then, you’ll just have to pop by!
