I’ve been seeing busts lately—the home décor kind, people! I love how putting one of these guys (or gals) in a room can add a touch of casual braininess or stateliness. Surely it would be fabulous to get an antique bust, but here are a couple lower-cost options. The carved wood ones, by Roost ($75-$115), are available through Elgin-based iloveuma.com and the little black and white vintage ones are from $5 to $20 at Post27. George Lowell carries some larger vintage stone and ceramic busts (from $400 to $500), for those who really want to make a statement.
