It’s always fun to score an old piece of furniture with the intention of reinventing it, but the process can involve multiple trips to various vendors—the thrift store to buy it, the refinisher to clean it up, the upholsterer to cover it in new fabric. Artist and interior designer Kelly Rauch had a novel idea: Her workshop, called Twice, features an inventory of raw vintage finds (as well as completed pieces) for sale, and she offers full refinishing and upholstery services—and window treatments and wallcoverings to boot.
