Design junkies love Elizabeth Cronin’s cheerful Wicker Park flower shop, Asrai Garden, for its alternative selection of buds (think chocolate cosmos and wildflowers) and the stylish way they’re presented (in vases, not plastic buckets). But the frosting on the cake is Cronin’s tiny, well-thought-out selection of home accessories, including Laura Zindel’s charming dishes featuring drawings of birds (right) and Shine Home’s retro-chic lamps with bases made of ceramic and 24-karat gold. You also can’t help but fall for the "vegan taxidermy" by Tamar Mogendorff: stuffed animals hand-sewn in jaunty fabric. "They’re a little corny, but I love them," says Cronin. 1935 W.
