The Italian-designed Sheer Kitchen looks a bit like a spaceship. Or a gigantic clam. Or Pac-Man. Whatever it is, your guests will be impressed. At the press of a button, its hood (which doubles as both ventilator and lighting fixture) opens dramatically to reveal a cooktop, double sink, three refrigerating bottle baskets, and a dolomite cooking stone; a five-foot table can be pulled out from one side. Included in the $90,000 price (but not shown here) are two attachable trolleys, one containing a trash receptacle and the other simply for storage, and a matching stainless steel storage unit that houses a refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven.
