MAC shadow in Soba and Make Up For Ever pencil in Metallic White

1 >> Starting with the crease of the lid, apply the MAC shadow in Soba in broad strokes. Follow with the Make Up For Ever pencil in metallic white. Draw a line from the inner corner of the eye across the lid, then up the crease. Use a finger to blend the white pencil into the shadow.

Make Up For Ever pencil in Black

2 >> Using the Make Up For Ever black pencil, draw a line from the outer edge of the eye to the inner corner.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector and MAC shadow in Soba

3 >> For a dewy look, apply Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector on top of foundation: Draw parentheses around the eyes, starting on the brow bone and following the cheekbone down. Blend lightly. For a light contour blush, use the MAC shadow in Soba.

Nars lip pencil in Cruella

4 >> For a glam red lip, try the Nars pencil in Cruella. Draw the letter m on the bow of the mouth, followed by a small center line on the bottom lip. Fill in the inner part of the lip with the pencil, press the lips together, and then trace with the pencil. Top with gloss.

Our expert’s go-to product: Cover Girl Volume Exact Mascara. For even more va-va voom, try false eyelashes. Our pick: Monica eyelashes from Make Up For Ever.

To apply cheek color: Use a MAC #168 brush and concentrate under the cheekbone, starting by the ear and moving forward.

Make Up For Ever pencil in Black

1 >> Start with the Make Up For Ever black pencil at the outer corner of the eye. Draw a line toward the inner corner, being careful to taper as it moves inward. Return the pencil to the outer corner and gently draw in a very thick line, making sure not to go above the crease of the eyelid. Always taper to a fine line at the inner corner. Line the lower lash also. Blend well with a brush (such as MAC #217), up and into the crease and underneath, keeping a space on the inner corner for the blue shadow. Top and blend with any basic black shadow.

Too Faced Duo Shadow in Skinny Dip and Make Up For Ever pencil in Metallic White

2 >> To create these highlights in blue, start at the tear duct on the top and bottom with the dark blue side of the Too Faced duo, then fill in the open space on the inner corner of the lid. Use the lighter color on the tear duct for a dash of opalescence. Blend the edges with a Q-tip. Follow by lightly tracing the tear duct with the white pencil.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector and MAC shadow in Soba

3 >> Apply Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector on top of foundation. For a light contour blush, use the MAC shadow in Soba.

Blending tip:
Start at the outer corner of the eye and bring the blending brush in “like a windshield wiper,” our expert says.

Did you know?
A smoky eye pairs best with a nude lip. For this look, apply basic lip balm and dab concealer on top.
