Tapping into its vast database of the area’s best doctors, Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. has prepared the list of some of the best pediatricians in metropolitan Chicago. Doctors’ names are arranged alphabetically by specialty. Those listed under “Pediatrics” have a general practice with children. Following the doctor’s name is his or her subspecialty or area of special interest (if the doctor has provided that information). The next item notes the doctor’s primary hospital affiliation (where applicable), followed by his or her telephone number.
On our list, we have abbreviated hospital names. That information should help indicate whether a doctor practices in your area. Keep in mind, however, that some doctors may have a broader range of practice; they may be affiliated with more than one hospital, and some hospitals are members of a larger association. For instance, Evanston Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Highland Park Hospital, and Skokie Hospital are all members of the Evanston-based NorthShore University HealthSystem.
Castle Connolly and Chicago have made every effort to provide the most current information. Readers are encouraged to call prospective doctors to make sure that none of their information has changed since publication of this guide.
