Wicker Park’s Division Street condo development

WICKER PARK
FROM $450,000
TO $599,000

It’s possible to live on Wicker Park’s Division Street restaurant strip without actually living on Division. At the Vision condo development, most of the 33 units are lodged above the courtyard parking and within a deep lot, set back from the busy thoroughfare. What’s more, the building’s flattened-Y shape means that some residents will have views of the glassy contemporary structure itself, without having to look directly into someone else’s home.

The roomy two-bedroom condos have as much as 1,574 square feet, and some three-bedroom condos surpass 1,650 square feet. Each unit has ten-foot-high ceilings, eight-foot-tall glass doors, and at least one balcony; some have as much as 450 square feet of outdoor space. At presstime, 21 units remained for sale. Though the building, at 1624 West Division, is largely completed, the selling agent, David Mahoney of Jameson, says RDM Development is leaving most interiors unfinished so that buyers can choose the stone, tile, and appliances they want. A parking space costs an additional $35,000.
