Over 500 people and 125 dogs came out in support of PAWS Chicago’s 16th Annual Beach Party on July 19 at Castaways. Emceed by BIG 95.5’s Lisa Dent and presented by Surgi-Connect, the occasion was co-chaired by Erica Kelly, Melissa Todd, and Jeff Hall. Lucky pups in attendance indulged in a doggie buffet and were treated to paw-di-cures and brush outs at the Dog Spa. Their humans enjoyed a beachfront buffet, photo booth, caricature artist, and live and silent auctions. The proceeds raised from this dog-friendly event will help fund lifesaving programs for homeless dogs and cats.
