More than 1,200 people, including runners, family members, and volunteers attended the 2019 RBC Race for the Kids at Comer Children’s on Sunday, October 6 at the University of Chicago to support groundbreaking pediatric research. Sponsored by Chicago magazine, the family-fun day included a 5K race, Kids’ Mile, Kids’ Dash, and activities such as pumpkin painting and face painting. The event raised more than $270,000 for life-saving research for the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital.
