May 7, 2016—The Alzheimer’s Association 29th annual Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala returned to the Hilton as one of the national organization’s biggest fundraisers. More than 800 guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with the high-energy CoverGirls violin show, three-course dinner, program, auctions, and live music by Orchestra 33’s Party Gras. The 2016 gala raised more than $1 million in support of the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Princess Yasmin Aga Khan established the event in tribute to her mother, Rita Hayworth, who passed from Alzheimer’s disease.
