On August 26, Chicago hosted nearly 100 hungry fans and foodies at Yūgen for our third Secret Supper of the year. Chef Mari Katsumura treated guests to a canapé reception followed by a decadent five-course meal including Chawanmushi, a dish also featured in our recent 50 Best Dishes issue. The dinner was paired with 90+ Cellars wine and cocktails from Tanqueray, Ketel One, and Johnnie Walker Black. Plus, one lucky guest won a $250 gift card to Yūgen, courtesy of Chicagoland Acura Dealers. A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited The Chicago Lighthouse.
