Picture yourself hiding the afikomen at Piccolo Sogno’s seder, tomorrow night at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.

 

Burned your brisket? Throw it out!

DINING If you are feeling overwhelmed by the myriad details of putting your seder table together, burned your brisket, or just don’t want to cook this year, here are some places we like that you can turn to for help:

1. Fox & Obel (401 E. Illinois St.; 312-379-0133, fox-obel.com). Fox & Obel can cater your first night of Passover with a full array of traditional dishes. They are accepting orders through Monday, March 29th.

2. Jerry’s (1938 W. Division St.; 773-235-1006, jerryssandwiches.com). Jerry’s will be offering a Passover menu from Tuesday, March 31st through Monday, April 5th. Yes, it’s a sandwich place, but anything on the menu can be done as a salad or off bun with a side of matzoh.

3. Piccolo Sogno (464 N. Halsted St. 312-421-0077, piccolosognorestaurant.com). Piccolo Sogno hosts seder on March 30th led by Rabbi Barry Axler. The menu is kosher-style and Italian-accented. Two seatings: 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required; $75 per person.

4. Steve’s Deli (354 W. Hubbard St.; 312-467-6868, stevesdeli.com). Steve’s Passover menu is available for both take-out and dining in on Monday, March 29th and Tuesday, March 30th. Any item can be had à la carte from gefilte fish with carrots to beef brisket to flourless chocolate cake.

5. Wildfire (159 W. Erie St.; 312-787-9000, wildfirerestaurant.com). Celebrate Passover with a three-course dinner at Wildfire on Monday, March 29th and Tuesday, March 30th. The menu features a variety of Passover favorites, such as matzoh ball soup, braised brisket of beef, potato kugel, and coconut macaroons. $26.95 per person and $12.95 for children under 12.
