Hundreds of parents, teachers and other opponents of Chicago Public School’s plan to close dozens of schools rallied today at 4 p.m. today at Daley Plaza, planning to stage a march to the CPS district headquarters at 125 S. Clark.

CPS set up barricades outside its headquarters on Monday to prepare for the protest. The Chicago Teachers Union is ready for 150 people to be arrested.

Regardless of your opinion of CPS or these closings, you have to appreciate an A+ protest sign. We graded a few of the visuals for this school project—here are a few we feel should earn particularly high marks.

This misspelling of the Mayor's name just proves that these kids really need schools to stay open.

Pretty dire message, but what a sweet smile!

Love that little "try to be good" bit in the center of the smaller sign.
