Monday, 4/15: Congratulate yourself on taxes well filed with a $30 prix fixe and half-price bottles of wine at Bistronomic (840 N. Wabash Ave., 312-944-8400). Each of three courses has three options, leading to menus such as Scottish salmon tartare, handmade spinach linguine with glazed oxtail, and homemade profiteroles.

Tuesday, 4/16: Unwind at a martini-making demo and tasting at Koi (624 Davis St., Evanston, 847-866-6969), starting at 7 p.m. For $20, movers and shakers will learn to make six spring-themed martinis—samples and hors d’oeuvres included. A $10 gift certificate toward a future visit also comes included in the ticket price. Purchase tickets here.

Wednesday, 4/17: Veg out at Tavernita (151 W. Erie St., 312-274-1111) with an all-vegetarian four-course dinner paired with natural wines for $55 a person. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., and the full menu can be viewed here.

Sunday, 4/21: Compensate for all those vegetables with a dinner special at David Burke’s Primehouse (The James, 616 N. Rush St., 312-660-6000). For $30, get a glass of beer or wine, a Primehouse burger (made with 40-day dry-aged steak and topped with garlic spinach, shallots, and bacon mayo), truffle Asiago fries, choice of soup or wedge salad, and a Malted Monkey banana–chocolate sundae. The deal is available from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sundays and Mondays through May 12.

All month: Help firefighters in need by dining at Chicago Firehouse (1401 S. Michigan Ave., 312-786-1401) this month. Order from a special menu to donate between $1 and $10 per item to the firefighter charity Ignite the Spirit
