Wednesday, 4/24: Sample Spanish wines and nosh on pizza, meats, and cheeses at this month’s Wine Bash at Quartino (626 N. State St., 312-698-5000) from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost to attend is $20, and registration begins at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, 4/25: Eat and drink your way through Lincoln Square and Ravenswood on the annual Spring Wine Stroll. Stroll stops such as Fountainhead, Provenance Food and Wine, and Troquet will supply participants with wine tastes and hors d’oeuvres on routes traversing the neighborhoods’ retail strips. Tickets cost $30 or $40 in advance for single routes and can be purchased here.

Saturday, 4/27: Meet culinary artisans and sample their cheese, charcuterie, sweets, beer, and other treats at Pastoral (Chicago French Market, 131 N. Clinton St., 312-454-2200). The third-annual Pastoral’s Artisan Producer Festival is free and open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, 4/27: Take the kids to Standard Market (333 E. Ogden Ave., 630-366-7030) for a family-friendly food festival complete with balloon animals and face painting. Adults can belly up to a cooking demo with chef Bill Kim (BellyQ) from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m., with more demos and samples from vendors like Lillie’s Q, Vosges, and Revolution Brewing until 4 p.m. Free admission.
