Quite the collaboration happening at Trenchermen (2039 W. North Ave., Wicker Park, 773-661-1540) tonight: They’re working with both Jonathan Zaragoza (Birrieria Zaragoza) and the crew from Penrose Brewery for a four-course meal with such treats as goat ribs and pork neck stroganoff. Tickets for dinner, which starts at 6 p.m., are $54 and available here.

Celebrate with the crew at Smylie Brothers Brewing Company (1615 Oak Ave., Evanston, 224-999-7320), as today marks the release of their Purple Line Bavarian Wheat (brewed with hibiscus, blueberry, and blackberry.) They’ll pour $4 pints of the concoction all day long.

Adams St., Loop, 312-786-9911), where starting today they’ll offer a special three-course meal inspired by the Art Institute’s current “Van Gogh’s Bedrooms” exhibition. The dishes include a golden beet ravioli with gorgonzola dolce sauce and the meal runs for $22.
