Geno Bahena, whose list of opened and closed restaurants is so long we’ve lost track, has plans to open Coco’s, a Puerto Rican/criollo spot at Division and California (that’s Humboldt Park) with a seviche bar on the second floor. “This will happen within a month or so, but I’m still in the works with a liquor license,” says Bahena. The Guerrero, Mexico, native—whose efforts have included the late Ixcapuzalco and Chilpancingo and his current Real Tenochtitlán (2451 N. Milwaukee Ave.;  773-227-1050)—is also working on a Mexican restaurant at 3140 North Lincoln Avenue (formerly Koko Sushi). We’ll believe it when we see it.
