Finding a restaurant in Chicago with both great views and food shouldn't be hard. But it is.

Luckily, Serious Eats understands this predicament, and posted a story today called Restaurants with Great Views in Chicago Where the Food Doesn't Suck. Not to put too fine a point on it.

If you're looking to catch some fresh air on your lunch break, or you want to knock the socks off of some guests in town, here are three of our favorite highlights from the @ChicagoSE list.

The J. Parker

With water views, fresh cocktails, and tasty food, this lounge on the Hotel Lincoln's rooftop is gem in Lincoln Park. The J. Parker snagged a spot on this year's list of best rooftop bars, too.

Spiaggia 
(980 N. Michigan Ave., (312) 280-2750)
One of the city's nicest Italian restaurants might be full of tourists, but Spiaggia never fails to impress with its divine plates and views of Michigan Avenue. A candlelit dinner overlooking the city—yeah, it's romantic.

Terzo Piano 
(159 E. Monroe St., 312-443-8650)
Art meets fine dining at the terrace above the Modern Wing at the Art Institue. The canteen at Terzo Piano enjoyed a spot on our rooftop list last year, and remains a favorite with its breathtaking view of Millenium Park.
