Monday, 3/18: Cure your case of the Mondays at Fleming’s (25 E. Ohio St., 312-329-9463). As of today, this list of five cocktails, five wines by the glass, and five apps (including pan-crisped pork belly and sweet chile calamari) cost $6 at the bar from 5 to 7 p.m. every night.

Wednesday, 3/20: Bag any burger on M Burgers menu for free with any purchase, in honor of the four-location Lettuce Entertain You chain’s third birthday. Limit one per person; available at all locations.

Wednesday, 3/20: Help launch Viaggio at the Park's (401 W. Fullerton Pkwy., 773-747-3333) weekly Wine Wednesdays, where all wines by the glass (normally $10 to $12) and select bottles (normally $40 to $48) will be half-price all day.

Thursday, 3/21: Learn to mix your own whiskey cocktails at Carlucci Restaurant (1801 Butterfield Rd., Downers Grove, 630-512-0990), where mixologist Wendy Thompson (Southern Wine & Spirits) will lead a class at 6 p.m. for $25 per person. Cocktail recipes include a B53, New Fashioned Old Fashioned, Kentucky Lemon Drop, Devil's Krewe Punch, Bloody Ghost, and Ghost Cosmopolitan. An appetizer buffet is included.

Saturday, 3/23: Gather menu ideas for the spring holidays at a lamb cooking demo at Socca (3301 N. Clark St., 773-248-1155). Chef Roger Herring will prepare a roasted and stuffed leg of lamb, lamb Bolognese with gluten-free gnocchi, and a dessert. Recipe cards and food and beverage samples are included in the $35 fee (reservations required).

All week: Donate a non-perishable item to The Publicans (837 W. Fulton Market, 312-773-9555) food drive March 18 to 24 and get a free drink, pork rinds, or a pastry (during weekend brunch hours). Proceeds will benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
