Dish tipsters noted that The Grocery Bistro (804 W. Washington St.) is papered over, usually the sign of doom.

Not this time. “We’re moving to Streeterville,” says Marcel Somfelean, Grocery’s owner. “It’ll be the same restaurant, but next to it will be an artisan bread, cheese, and wine store.” Somfelean shut the West Loop location May 10th, but he plans to open in Streeterville June 1st, keeping Daniel Marquis as executive chef, the BYO policy, and the summer menu that debuted three weeks ago. What will be different is that lunch and brunch will be served and that the space is more than 20 seats bigger. Unfortunately, we’re sworn to secrecy on the address, but we’ll let faithful Dishees know as soon as we can.
