August 26, 2010- On August 26th, guests gathered at Northwestern University for the American Craft Exposition Benefit preview party. Guests could view unique art pieces and crafts, while enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The evening kicked off the three-day Craft Exposition and ticket sales supported critical cancer research.

One problem: the evening convention, which follows an afternoon “activist training conference” for conservatives at the nearby Marriot Chicago Northwest, is on Yom Kippur, the holiest of the Jewish High Holy Days.
