Flowers die, chocolates disappear—but a Burberry trench coat? Now that's forever.

Right in time for Valentine's Day, the British brand opens its plaid-clad doors today, February 14, at Fashion Outlets of Chicago. The new location is the brand's only Chicagoland outlet, selling a variety of men’s and women’s sportswear, outerwear, accessories and handbags—oh, the handbags.

Here are the kind of deals to expect:

  • Trenches, originally $1,395-$1,495, are marked down to $1,039-$1,149
  • Wallets, originally $595 to $395, are marked down to $299-$419
  • Handbags, originally $995 to $1295, are marked down $794-$899
  • And signature scarves, originally $395, are marked down to $319

The store joins an already stellar roster at the mall—Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch and Moncler, to name a few. If you head over this weekend, you'll also score some extra deals for President's Day weekend. Neiman Marcus Last Call is discounting an extra 25 percent off everything in the store, and 50 percent off cold weather apparel. At Swarovski, spend $100, get $25 off your purchase, and take 40 percent off select jewelry and crystal figurines. At Gucci, select merchandise is 30 to 70 percent off.

Love is certainly in the air.
