Local designer Maria Pinto—a favorite of Michelle Obama—opens her new store tomorrow. At 833 West Washington Boulevard, the minimalist, modern shop will feature Pinto’s ready-to-wear collection, M2057. All of the label’s items will be available for customers to try on; shoppers can then order items, which will be shipped in two to three days.

River North houseware and accessory boutique Elements (741 N. Wells St., elementschicago.com) has select accessories on sale while supplies last. Items include an orange, yellow, and black Italian scarf (reduced to $66.50 from $95) and a multi-color sapphire ring (reduced to $75 from $125).

Openings

Luxury menswear label BOGA, which is based in Chicago, will open its first retail outlet at the Chicago Premium Outlets (1650 Premium Outlets Blvd., Aurora, premiumoutlets.com) on November 23.

Pop-Up

High-end consignment shop Luxury Garage Sale has opened its Holiday Pop-Up at the 900 North Michigan Shops (900 N. Michigan Ave., shop900.com). Open until December 31, the shop offers giftable goods from designers like Chanel and Saint Laurent.

Trunk Shows

Adam Lippes, the luxury womenswear designer, will make a personal appearance at Neapolitan (715 Elm St., Winnetka, neapolitanonline) on November 10. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the shop will showcase Lippes’s current styles, as well as items from his resort and spring 2016 collections.

Women’s boutique Krista K. (3458 N. Southport Ave., kristak.com) is hosting a trunk show for Mother Jeans through November 12. Styles include high-waisted skinny jeans with frayed ankles ($196) and vintage-style flare jeans ($218.) During the trunk show, buy two or more jean styles and get 20 percent off.
