Stop Smiling, Anja! (Just Kidding.)

If Stella McCartney ever tells her models to stop smiling on the catwalk, I will be really disappointed. It's a good reason to drag yourself out of bed on the morning following the heaviest show day of the week, put on your platform boots, and truck on over—because you probably don't want to miss the top models smiling on the catwalk. Doesn't happen often. And it's always intriguing! Sometimes you can't recognize them!

McCartney always manages to get the job done, putting together clothes for the cool girls to covet: short dresses and, of course, the fabulous poofy knit coats.

Last season, the Stella show helped us to discover funny French singer Soko. This year, it was more of a nostalgia trip musically, with memories flooding in from all directions. First there was a "Pump Up the Jam" moment, and then the final exits were played to "Yesterday."

I'm not sure if Paul McCartney was there (he generally is), but I enjoyed seeing Kanye West and his girlfriend seated right across from me. Kanye's looking great this week as usual—the nerdy glasses, the interesting gray, coordinated look with his girlfriend. I loved how they each wore one thing that popped: bright green pants for him, and hot pink lips for her.
