Monday, March 28

Get buff like a beermaker at the Brewers Workout, a class put on by Goose Island and the West Loop Athletic Club (1380 W. Randolph St.). You’ll use kegs, barrels, and more to build strength before getting refreshments. The free sweatfest starts at 6 p.m.—sign up here.

In case you were too busy with Easter to celebrate National Paella Day over the weekend, you can continue your observation into the week at Mercat a la Planxa (638 S. Michigan Ave., Loop, 312-542-3600). It has half-price paellas through Thursday.

Tuesday, March 29

Taste the funk at Corridor Brewery & Provisions (3446 N. Southport Ave., Lake View, 773-270-4272) during the launch of its first ever brett beer (an extra-fermented style), Funkadelic #1. You can some get samples and a brewery tour as the crew from Reckless Records handles the tunes. The party starts at 6 p.m.

Saturday, April 2

Gorge on everyone’s favorite circular pastry at River North Donut Fest inside Moe’s Cantina and Old Crow (149-155 W. Kinzie St., River North). You’ll get tons of tastings plus three drink tickets for $50—reserve your spot here.

Sunday, April 3

Happy birthday, Sink|Swim (3213 W. Armitage Ave., Logan Square, 773-486-7465)! In honor of the seafood spot’s first year in business, it’s throwing a fête with $6 sparkling cocktails and glasses of rosé and $1 oysters all day long.
