King crab is king at Ramen-San’s (59 W. Hubbard St., River North, 312-377-9950) omakase dinner tonight, the second in an ongoing series. For $50, you’ll get five courses spotlighting the crustacean. E-mail ramensanparties@leye.com to make a reservation.

Belgian beer fiends, take note of the Brasserie St. Feuillien dinner at Trenchermen (2039 W. North Ave., Wicker Park, 773-661-1540) tonight. Dominique Friart, the fourth-generation owner of the brewery, will discuss the history of her family’s beermaking over a four-course meal made by chef Pat Sheerin. Buy $75 tickets here.

Wednesday, November 12

Midweek meal deal: Ani (3056 N. Lincoln Ave., Lake View, 872-206-8553) is adding a ramen bargain on Wednesday nights starting this week. Pick a bowl of ramen and you’ll get a beer or glass of sake to go with it, all for $15.

Through the end of November, Davanti Enoteca (multiple locations, see davantienoteca.com) is covering basically anything it can with truffles for their “Every Day We’re Trufflin’” menu. Your options include a mascarpone polenta with winter black truffles and mushroom ragu for $19 and a Piemontese hazelnut panna cotta with truffle honey and winter truffle for $14. You can also just add shavings of the ‘shroom to any dish on their menu.

Sunday, November 16

For the rest of the month at MFK (432 W. Diversey Pkwy., Lincoln Park, 773-857-2540), Sundays are Blue Crab Fiesta days. For $39 a person at the bar, you can feast on 4 jumbo Chesapeake Blue Crabs with unlimited slaw and hushpuppies. The deal runs from noon to 5 p.m. and it’s first come, first served—and the bar itself is tiny, so plan accordingly.
