October 21, 2011–Chicago magazine, in partnership with The Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, celebrated Chicago magazine’s editorial dining coverage with the first annual Chicago’s Table event held at River East Art Center. Attendees enjoyed dishes from 14 of the city’s best restaurants and chefs—picked from the pages of Chicago magazine—with perfectly paired cocktails and beer. A special thanks to spirit sponsors Bulleit Bourbon, Crown Royal Black, Don Julio Tequila, and Moon Mountain Vodka; featured breweries Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Half Acre Beer Company, and Three Floyds Brewing Co.; wine sponsors Jim Ball Vineyards and Gallo Family Vineyards; and Counter Culture Coffee. The evening’s valet was provided by BMW. All proceeds from the event supported research and therapies for stroke patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
