A Devil of a Time

September 28, 2012–The Auditorium Theatre Junior Board hosted the second annual Devil’s Ball, the group’s annual fundraiser benefitting the Auditorium Theatre. More than 200 guests gathered in the Auditorium’s historic lobby for a cocktail party that featured dancing, hors d’oeuvres, theatre tours, wine, and silent auctions. The money raised will help benefit the programming, outreach opportunities, and restoration of the Auditorium, Chicago’s iconic and legendary National Historic Landmark building.

Fashion Group International Honors Chicago’s Rising Stars

September 12, 2012–Fashion Group International (FGI) of Chicago recognized this year’s top talent in the categories of apparel, accessories, beauty, interiors, retail, and e-commerce at its Eighth Annual Rising Star Awards event at Hotel SAX Chicago. This year’s Rising Star Awards were presented to: Nora Del Busto for apparel, Formé Millinery for accessories, Aaron’s Apothecary for beauty, Sean Michael Design for interiors, Sarca for retail, and Glossed and Found for the first-ever e-commerce category. The fashion-forward event was attended by more than 175 guests and raised nearly $10,000 for FGI-Chicago programs.
