Palace Grill

In our spring fashion special—“Diners, Dresses, & Dives”—killer cocktail attire brings a dose of glam to a few storied local spots.

Everything around it has changed, but the Palace Grill stays the same. The club sandwich is still about four feet tall, and people still leave the place with smiles on their faces. Folks who worked at the old Chicago Stadium and then the United Center would come over for lunch because there was nothing else around here. Now the diner’s a gathering place for Hawks fans. And for Hawks. The team and my staff are in here a lot. I think the Cup itself has been in here 13 or 14 times.
