August 21, 2012–The 2012 Kitchen Walk Kick-Off Party was held at The Reid Murdoch Penthouse. Jenn-Air hosted more than 125 guests with succulent tasting plates and cocktails from the bar and ice luge. Opportunities to purchase tickets to the October 13 tour as well as Dream Kitchen raffle tickets were available to guests. A Jenn-Air wine cellar was raffled off and all proceeds benefit the work of Designs for Dignity.

June 15, 2012–NBC’s Stefan Holt and Cheryl Scott emceed this year’s Summer Lovin’ event, where they presented Chicago magazine’s 20 most eligible singles. Tasty hors d’oeuvres were provided by Union Sushi + Barbecue Bar, Magnolia Bakery, Hub 51, M Burger, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Nacional 27, III Forks, Mercat a la Planxa, La Madia, Blue Agave, II Mulino, Wolfgang Puck Catering, and Mercadito. Drinks were provided by Ketel One, Don Julio, Zacapa, Stella Artois, Bulleit, Johnnie Walker Black Label, Tanqueray, and The Naked Grape. Guests enjoyed an array of activity stations, such as makeovers with Amazing Cosmetics, hairstyling by Pascal pour Elle, and photo opportunities courtesy of Spex and Rock of Ages. The raffle was kindly donated by American Airlines and Waikiki Parc while the silent auction was sponsored by It’s Just Lunch. Guests relaxed in the vitaminwater lounge with signature cocktails.
June 15, 2012–Chicago magazine and The Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital celebrated Chicago magazine’s 20 most eligible singles at the 12th annual Summer Lovin’ event. More than 1,000 guests gathered at the Museum of Contemporary Art to enjoy an evening that featured tasty bites from 15 of the city’s hottest restaurants, an array of signature cocktails, a silent auction, a Hawaiian vacation raffle, a photo booth, purple carpet, dancing, and much more. All proceeds from the 2012 event will benefit stroke research and treatment at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Although they arrived dressed to the nines for this year’s Summer Lovin’ soiree, the city’s finest eye candy was ready to let their hair down and unleash their inner rockers…
