7. La Boulangerie
This bakery’s owner, Vincent Colombet, painstakingly adapted a traditional French recipe for his feather-light macarons. Publican’s head baker, Greg Wade, has made finding an authentic baguette in Chicago as easy as going out for deep-dish.
