They’re raunchy (“hit a pussy pour like Aquafina”), they’re cutting (“got your woman crush calling and she wants something”), and their debut EP, Shitty Punk Album, released in February, is a gritty blend of rock and hip-hop. Led by MC Psalm One (who also happens to be the first woman signed to the indie hip-hop label Rhymesayers), the trio—also including MCs Ill-Esha and Angelenah—summarize their appeal in the single “Rules and Regulations”: “Everybody wants a Rapper Chick.”
