Back when we all thought the lockdown would last two weeks, Woodall, a group fitness coordinator at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, moved her solidly booked Yoga Sculpt and BarreBody classes online — and put her laptop in her microwave because that’s where she could see the screen best while teaching. Her infectious smile and words of encouragement quickly drew a bona fide community of hardcore yogis you were used to passing at the gym. Fridays are particularly popular, when Woodall hosts live Yoga Sculpt & Gulp ($10 donation): an hour of sweating using all those chickpea cans you panic-bought as weights, followed by a virtual cocktail hour where no topic is off the table.
