Hi, there. What's your name?

Chicago magazine is looking for the area’s most outstanding eligible men and women to spotlight in our annual singles issue. Whether you have a friend you can’t wait to tell us about or you'd like to give it a go yourself, here’s the fine print: Applicants must be unattached; at least 21; current residents of Chicago or its suburbs; and can be gay, straight, you name it. We’re looking for folks who are successful, accomplished, photogenic, and interesting. And, for the record, this isn’t a personals ad, so you don’t have to feel like you’re signing up for an awkward blind date. We just think it’s worth touting how polished, impressive, and comely our fellow Chicagoans really are.

To nominate yourself or a friend, send a brief personal statement (as short as a couple of sentences or as much as a page—and don’t be shy about singing your praises), a current resumé, and a couple of recent photos (in group shots, be sure to identify who you are) to singles@chicagomag.com. Deadline for submissions is March 16, 2009. We will e-mail potential candidates directly. Good luck!
