The thing about Chinese dumplings is that you don’t want to include them as part of a balanced meal but rather to stuff yourself silly. The pork xiaolongbao soup dumplings do their thing better than any I’ve had in Chicago. You scoop one onto your spoon, gnaw off its top, drink the elixir inside, and eat the rest with dipping sauce.
